Hello,

New to CyberSEO and had a question about media, specifically videos within the post. I’ve got a feed setup and everything appears great, the post images come over as well as the text. The only things that don’t show are the videos.  Example this is a post I’m trying to pull in. Login to see this link

How can i fix this?

Thanks!

The videos on these pages are presented in the following manner:

When you copy HTML code from a webpage that includes an embedded YouTube video, like the one you’re referring to, it’s important to understand that the video playback functionality often relies on external JavaScript libraries or scripts. These scripts are responsible for several functions:

  1. The scripts initialize the video player. They convert the static placeholder elements in the HTML (like the play button and thumbnail image) into a dynamic video player.
  2. The actual video player, often an iframe element that loads the YouTube video, is inserted into the webpage dynamically. This process is managed by the JavaScript, which listens for user interactions (like clicking the play button) and then acts accordingly.
  3. For YouTube videos, the webpage likely uses YouTube’s IFrame Player API. This API allows for detailed control over YouTube video playback within an iframe, including events like play, pause, and end.

If you simply copy and paste the HTML code without including these JavaScript scripts in the <head> section of your webpage, the dynamic elements required for video playback won’t work. The HTML code for the placeholder and button will be there, but without the JavaScript to transform them into a video player, they will remain static and non-functional.

The original site uses its own JS libraries to display these videos. The only way to get them to work on your site is to also include all the necessary JS libraries in the <head> section of your WordPress pages. Please check this out: Login to see this link

I knew there was something I was missing but wasn’t sure where to start.  Thank You!
