So basically I can set the rss pulling rule as “auto”, set the minute interval and they will update without having cron job? So the cron job is just an additional option to make the rss pull if the status is “asap” right?
Not sure if I'm getting it correct, cause in that thread the guy use “auto” mode while I've been using cron job or manual mode..

Almost right but not exactly. Because in auto mode:
- the minimum interval is 3 minutes;
- in “auto” mode the feeds with “ASAP” status will be pulled only when some one will visit your blog (a human or an SE spider – doesn't matter). If your blog won't be visited within 10 hours, no feeds will be pulled during this time;
- also sometimes (especially when you have some serious traffic) in “auto” mode, the cron emulation could be triggered for the same feed in case if two surfers will visit your blog simultaneously.
This is why cron is better than “auto” mode.
