Hi. Is it possible to delete or bypass the added css entry located at the top of a gallery (the one created by /wp-includes/media.php)? I hate having extra styles added to my pages for nothing and would rather add the classes to my own css.

So you just want to override the execution of the standard WordPress gallery shortcode. Please read this: Login to see this link

The Gallery Magic plugin just downloads the images from a remote host, uploads them to yours and turn them into a standard WP gallery, but it does not affect on how they will be actually displayed by WP engine and some particular WP theme. This surely can be overridden, but I think it should be done via theme functions.php or via a special plugin.
