Hello,

How about using /usr/bin/curl -I –silent http://www.uk-news.net/?pull-f…..456789abcd

vs. without -I

I am testing it and it is pulling feeds as well. But with -I curl finishes much faster.

Isnt this better or it does not matter, because it is waiting for php to finish?

The -I or –head parameter means that curl should show the HTTP head only. And yes it works faster, because it does not return the contents of the HTML document.
