Hello Admin,
i recently ran into a problem as gallery magic does not create featured image for post.
is there chance you could look at it?
You have to make sure that your wp-content/uploads/ folder is writable to the scripts (mode 777). Also I have to look at your settings. How exactly you generate the galleries – manually or form dump?

the upload folder permissions are set to 777
where i can send you website access?
importing from a dump – scheduling them – the weird thing is if i “Update” scheduled post with GM short code in it – it generates featured image.

Please send the website access details to cyberseo@cyberseo.net

Hmm.. Could be a conflict of plugins.

You have a lot of plugins there and this there is a conflict with one of them. I have disabled some of plugins and added this gallery:
The gallery was imported and feature image was generated. Just don’t forget to enable the generation method in the “Featured Image” box.
Thus now you have to check which plugin causes the problem. The only way to find out is to enable/disable them one by one.
Also make sure that the gallery must be open in browser. After that you have to wait some time, while Gallery Magic downloads the images to your server, crops the thumbnails and generated the featured image. That’s not the instant process.
When you will find the conflicting plugin, please posts its name here so other customers were also aware of the issue.

Hi,
first of all – thank you very much for helping me out!
how much do I owe you for this?
it turned out W3 Total Cache is causing trouble for me – once it turned off gallery magic works just fine.
So it was W3 Total Cache. Ok, I’m going to check if it possible to make the plugins compatible one with each other. Thanks for heads up.
You don’t owe anything. You already paid for the lifetime support when you purchased the plugin.

Hi, got the same issue. Any idea for an update time?
Unfortunately I can’t see a solution so far and would recommend to use WP Super Cache instead. It has no issues.
