Though our RSS feed provides our featured images as “media:content”, the imported articles have no associated images. Am I missing some setting? 

Login to see this link, you can see the most recent articles have no images (the ones with images were created via a backup of the production site). confused

There is a special “Media attachments” dropbox in feed setting. Just select “Insert attachments at the top of the post” or “Insert attachments at the bottom of the post” and pull the feed.
