Hi there,

I have been a user of the CyberSEO Lite plugin for years and just upgraded to the Pro version. When adding a new XML feed using default settings (Login to see this link), it triggers a fatal WordPress error and I can’t seem to decipher the problem. I believe all server requirements have been met, and we’ve been using the Lite plugin for years with no issue. Running PHP 8.0 with no option to roll back to 7.4 to test and see if that is the issue, but looking through the forum I know that is a common issue.

Happy to create a user for you to log in and see if you can figure out what might be happening. Thanks so much in advance!

The error is:

Yes, please create an admin account for me and sent it to Login to see this link

Just want to say that it’s not a problem with PHP 8.0. The CyberSEO Pro plugin works fine even with the latest version of PHP 8, while the WordPress CMS itself still can’t handle the new version of PHP correctly.

BTW, have you checked Login to see this link in the browser? My browsers show just an empty screen…

Just checked your site and found a bug in the CyberSEO Pro code. A very rare bug, which happens when cURL is unable to read the file. Actually nothing should happen – the file is empty and can not be added. However it shouldn’t end up with a Fatal Error.

So the bug has been fixed. You still won’t be able to syndicate that feed, because even a browser shows an empty page for it, but there will be no crashes in such a situation anymore.

Thanks for heads up!
