Hello Admin,

I have WordPress v3.2 and PHP 5.2:

With RSS Pull mode set to 'Auto' and  Base Date set to "Syndication Date" scheduled posts are all showing "MISSED SCHEDULE".

Can you please help me fix this issue?

(i tried increasing timeout in php.cron) (even tried the WP Set Schedule plug-in but nothing seems to work here)?

Hello Admin,

I noticed my host removed the "WP-Cron.php" file from the root in my WP installations. Is this an issue?

Hello Admin,

My host (skynet) is allowing me to utilize WP-Cron.php in the root so things are now working.

But the alternative would be to schedule a Cron Job every hour.. would this still allow each RSS 'rule' to run independently?

Yes and no. Every time when the cron asks the plugin to update the feeds (say once a hour), it (the plugin) will update only those feeds which update status is "asap".
