OK, I'm on a vps and updated my php to 5.3.9. After my unsuccessful attempts at updating ioncube loader, I had Hostgator do it. 'Hello, IonCube v4.0.12 has been installed on your VPS. Please let us know if you need anything else.

Although that info does not show up anywhere when I run mydomain.com/i.php
When I activate the plugin I get,
Site error: the file /home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/CyberSEO/cyberseo-core.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so to be installed by the website operator
Maybe I'm not putting things in the right place? ioncube_loader_lin_5.3.so installed how and where? ioncube folder goes where? Add lines into php.ini? I'm sorry I just don't get it. Thanks

The only way to know it for sure is read check the output of your i.php. What does it say exactly?

Was with Hostgator live chat to confirm updated ioncube. They said it was but they checked again and i.php does show it now. They must have updated it again or something.
