Do you want to include a link back to the article source into the syndicated posts, or something else? I’m not sure that I god your question.

Sorry, I would like to like back to the original article so a visitor could click a link (source) and go to the article. I am using cybereso for news I’m not spinning or changing anything in the piece so there needs to be a reference to the original.

I hope this clears it up.

Thank You

Doug

I see. Simple add the following line into the “Post footers” box:

Source

The plugin will automatically replace “####post_link####” with the actual link to the source article.

Do you mean by “date” the date when the original article was posted? And what is the “author”? Does your RSS feed contains such an element?

As I see, but I need the actual feed’s URL to show you on how to extract the author info.

Hi,

If this is problematic forget it. I thought it be just an easy fix without complications. I’ll live without it.

I have several feed I wanted t use if it has to be part of the feeds not worth it.

I can link the Headline to the source correct?

Thanks

Doug

You meant the post title, which is displayed at the top of the post when you open it? If so, you will need to modify your WP template for that. The problem is that everything which is displayed on your blog is controlled by your WP template.

Of maybe you need it to be done like here: Login to see this link?

Hi,

Is there a way the script can pick up the date of the post:

Headline (title)

posted (date)

content (full article)

source: This is taken care of thank you.

Only if the feed does contain all this information.

I tried adding the following link to my syndicated feed :

You can read the full article source on this link : Source

It shows a link with the syndicated post not the original site link plus the ####post_link#### text on the end. Im more looking to credit the original source of the article by putting a link on my copy back to him.

Something is wrong there. Did you put the mentioned line into the “Post Footers” box, or somewhere else?
