Hello Admin,

On one of my WordPress sites running v3.2 I'm getting “Error Inserting Into Database”. Is there a way to attach a log file?
Snippet from the log:

WordPress database error MySQL server has gone away for query SELECT ID FROM wp_posts WHERE guid = “http://www.goerie.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20111109/APA/1111091172” OR post_name = “occupy-protesters-start-march-from-nyc-to-dc” made by shutdown_action_hook …

Can you offer any insight/help as to how to fix this issue?

Sincerely,
Cyber1

“MySQL server has gone away”  is a very common MySQL error messages. The main reason being non-optimal MySQL server settings. More info on this issue can be found here: Login to see this link.
