Try searching but couldn't get the answer..

So im sure its an easy fix but im getting duplicate images.

It seems that the thumbnail image is then being posted again in the post. Was wondering i can remove this second image from the post.

Your WordPress theme displays featured image above the post which contains the same image in its body. So that's not a bug, but a feature of your theme.
