I use cyberseo and your kvs wp plugin on a site and the kvs plugin does not show the video if it has this url:

But it does show, if I delete everything behind .mp4 (?hash=uP2pApsHB3xydZg2lBSO3kQF8BA%3D). How Can I import these kind of video urls and make it work with cyberseo and kvs?

You should modify the preset that imports the video and use the Login to see this link function to remove the unwanted part of the link.

Alternatively you may try to store the video locally.

Also if you need any sort of custom preset for your own needs, you can always order it here: Login to see this link

I was able to modify it and the mp4 looks correct using this:

But if I use this here in the content section, it uses the data before php changed it:

kvs_player video_url=%custom_fields[videourl]% preview_url=%xml_tags[thumb]%

Anything I can do about that?

I didn’t get what you mean. The PHP code changes the content prior its addition into the WordPress database. So KVP Player Pro can use the modified version only.

Well all I can say the custom field in wp is totally correct with .mp4 and no string after that (after using the php code) and using the following in the content section spits out the old version without the change: [‘custom_fields’][‘videourl’]

If you want to modify some content with PHP, you should also insert it into the post ($post[‘post_content’]) via PHP as well. If you can do PHP, you don’t need to use templates or anything else. The “Custom PHP code” box in CyberSEO Pro gives you the same possibilities as IDDQD in DOOM ;)
