Hi there,
First, great plugin – so lightweight, it’s incredible.
I was just wondering if there was a way to set a generated posts’ permalink point to the URL of the original item, so when someone clicks the title link on my site, it takes you straight to the very original website.
To be clearer:
Original Web: hello.com/article-six
RSS for that site: hello.com/rss
My site: goodbye.com
Permalink for article on my site: hello.com/article-six
Any help?! Thanks!
The requested feature is now implemented in CyberSyn 2.10. Note the new “Link syndicated posts to the original source” option there.

Ive not read the post 100% thoroughly but that suggests there are slightly different options between cyberSEO and cyberSYN. As the flagship product is cyberSEO then is it possible to have all the features of SYN included in it or is that already the case now?

I am using the latest version of cyberseo and cant see where to enable this feature.
I actually cant see anything related to cybersyn at all.
thanks

ok I see the option under tools. unfortunately that redirects the permalink rrather than actually replace it.
is that how its meant to work ?

not for me its not
the permalink points to the original site and is visible in the permalink filed on the edit post page
when i view that post it redirects to the original source url
i have experimented heavily with this today. i even installed that shitty alternative feedwordpress to test and using that the permalinks are actually the original source
any help appreciated man
thanks
