I set up a cron on my host as described in the Default Settings for CyberSyn. I am confused by this area of settings:
“Check syndicated feeds for updates every minutes. If you don’t need auto updates, just set this parameter to 0.”
Do I need to change the 1440 to anything since I am using a cron to trigger the feed pulling? I have set the cron to pull 3 rss feeds once per day, 3 articles each pull.
Thanks

I am also noticing that the value on one blog is 1440 and it is counting down while on another blog, where I have the plugin installed, the value shows “asap”. Which is correct? How can his be changed? Or, do I need to do nothing? Both blogs have crons set up on my hosting.
Thanks
Jimmi
You don’t need to do anything. The time before next update will be counting down till it became “asap”. Then the blog will be ready to pull the feed on the next cron event.

OK, so I set up the cron and set the timer to, say 10. In 10 minutes the timer runs out and asap shows up which means the blog is ready for the next cron pull. After the scheduled cron trigger, the timer resets to 10 minutes and begins the countdown to asap again. Is that about right?
Thanks
