After manually adding images to a post the following times i add content with gallery magic it seems to add the manually added content and not add all the content from the current link i put into gallery magic.

A WordPress gallery shortcode does not allow to have more than one gallery per post. So WordPress engine always tries to display all the attached images as a single gallery.

If I manually add images in post 1 then create a new post 2 and use gallery magic to upload images for a gallery in post 2 the images it selects are sometimes from what I uploaded in post 1.

This happens to me as well. Say for instance a sponsor labels his gallery images 01.jpg, 02.jpg, 03.jpg etc. I have one gallery posted. I then use gallery magic to import another gallery from same sponsor, or another that has a similar naming structure, that newly created post wants to bring in images from previous posts with same file names.
So for my newly created post, some……not all….of the images will be from previous posts. I had one post that the gallery showed two different sets of images. I had to go in and manually delete all photos from both posts and redo.
This seems to be the only issue for me. I’ve not used the bulk import as or yet.
Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?
