I currently have quite a few feeds created and running in the lite version.  If I deactivate the plugin then install the pro version, will I lose any of my feeds and not create duplicate posts?

Also, can this just be installed via the Wordpress "install new plugin" wizard and upload the zip like that?

You will need to download the plugin manually and yes, it will be updated automatically. You don't need to do anything once it's installed.
