Hi, I’ve noticed a strange behavior with the plugin: no matter if I save a new prompt under Post Templates, it keeps using the old one for OpenAI API..
Here’s what I already tried:
Added new feeds → still using the old AI prompt;
Cleared Cloudflare cache and website cache;
Restarted PHP from the hosting panel.
Unfortunately, nothing changes – the plugin seems stuck with the initial prompt and ignores any new saved ones in post templates.
My question: does the plugin have any kind of internal cache (e.g. files stored under /wp-content/uploads/, /wp-content/cache/, or another directory) that I could manually clear via FTP to force it to reload the new prompts? Or is there another procedure I should follow to make the plugin apply the updated and saved new prompt?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
The plugin does not have any cache. All your settings are saved as regular WordPress options. Moreover, all feed settings are saved there as a whole, not separately.
Are you sure that it is the template that contains your prompt, and not your settings on the "AI article generation" tab, in the custom PHP code or somewhere else? There are many places in the plugin settings where you can specify the AI prompt.
If you are still sure that it is the prompt from the template, then provide your template, as well as the contents of your Syndicator log for this feed.

Hi,
Thanks for the help.
I understand the plugin doesn’t use a cache and that feed settings are stored as a single WordPress option.
I’ve double-checked every place where a prompt can live:
Template: this is the only place where I’ve put the prompt.
AI Article Generation tab: all prompt fields are empty/disabled.
Custom PHP / other settings: no custom code or additional prompts active.
I’ve run multiple checks and it indeed doesn’t cache, but it seems to add extra things to my prompt—for example, four sections keep appearing (I explicitly say not to do that in the prompt). The result is completely different from what I get in ChatGPT (where my prompt works perfectly) compared to what I get with the plugin (the four sections, etc.).
Where can I see what the plugin actually sends to the OpenAI ChatGPT API? I suspect it’s sending something different from what I wrote in my prompt, or it’s adding some predefined elements.

Unfortunately, all of the above is done incorrectly.
First, if you want to rewrite the imported article with AI, you should only use this special option: https://www.cyberseo.net/content-syndicator/#content-spinner, as shown in the picture below.
If you are not satisfied with the results of the AI content spinner and would like to rewrite the content using your own specific prompt, you should use the OpenAI model directly via the [openai_gpt] or [ai_generate] shortcodes. Alternatively you can do it using the UI form in the AI article generation tab in your feed settings.
According to your post above, you are trying to use the [gpt_article] shortcode, which is intended for completely different tasks. Please read the manual: https://www.cyberseo.net/blog/creating-long-coherent-articles-with-gpt-4-turbo/.
As mentioned in the article, this shortcode is designed to generate articles based on your scenario. However, the "structure" parameter is being used incorrectly in your shortcode because your prompt must be specified in "directives" instead. This is why you see an internal prompt of [gpt_article] instead of your own prompt.
If you want to write a new article based on the imported text instead of simply rewriting it, you can also use the [gpt_article] shortcode, but in a different way. Here is a manual with a video tutorial explaining this technique: https://www.cyberseo.net/blog/enhancing-articles-and-creating-unique-content-for-added-value/.
Please keep in mind that it is impossible to use all of the CyberSEO Pro plugin's features without reading the documentation and tutorial articles on our website. As the plugin developers, we are used to constantly re-read its documentation because the plugin has acquired so much functionality over 19 years of development that it is just impossible to remember it all.

From our discussion, I managed to resolve the issue. I replaced the [gpt_article ...] content in the template with [openai_gpt prompt="..."], and now everything works correctly. Sorry for the confusion, and thank you for the help. I didn’t realize that [gpt_article] inserts its own prompt.
Congratulations on the plugin—it’s outstanding. Thank you for your great work!!
