I’m auto-generating post images woth CyberSEO Pro via OpenAI Model: GPT-Image-1 and importing them into WordPress. I need the featured image/thumbnail and all resized variants to be JPG, not PNG, to save disk space. I’ve enabled PNG→JPG conversion, but the plugin still serves PNG files as thumbnails images

What I want

All generated images saved and used as JPG (featured image + sizes).

Preferably no original PNG left behind.

What I’ve already configured

CyberSEO Pro → Media enrichment / AI

OpenAI image position: Store in “thumb” custom field

Model: GPT-Image-1

Image size: 1536×1024 (landscape)

Image class: aligncenter

I also regenerated thumbnails after disabling larger sizes, but the front-end still shows PNG

Logs are bellow. Any pointers or working settings would be hugely appreciated—thank you!

CyberSEO Pro → Media handling

Store images locally: ON

Convert PNG images to: JPEG, quality 60

Add to Media Library: OFF

Store base64-encoded images: ON

Media attachments: Do not insert attachments

Post thumbnails: Create from “thumb” custom field

FIFU: OFF

According to your Syndicator log, conversion is not enabled in the settings of this feed. If it was enabled, you would see "Convert image to jpeg with GD" or "Convert image to jpeg with Imagick" in the log.

Export the feed settings to a file and email it to Login to see this link. I will check your settings.
