Multisite settings not saved on main site | Freeware Plugins | Support Forum

I notice on my multisite the settings for the main site won’t save when I tick “use cron”. I hit the save button and revisit the settings page and the box for “use cron” is unticked again. This only happens on the main site for multisite. All my other subsites still work and save properly it’s just the main site doesn’t save
