Then I enabled the featured image post thumbnails option and there is a double image on the post when viewing as a visitor. When viewing on the post editor there is only one image. I tried a different theme but no dice. 

My goal is to have the thumbnails on the articles on the homepage. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Thanks
