I’ve recently replaced FeedWordpress with the Cybersyn plugin.  My new syndicated posts are generated with a “Continue Reading” link in the excerpt of the post that links back to the source post.   Is there an option to remove the link back to the source in Cybersyn?  Or does the CyberSeo software offer this option?

Thanks!

CyberSEO is the only plugin that allows you to remove links, extract full articles and many more. However I wouldn’t suggest you to remove the links to the original articles, because it maybe considered as a copyright infraction.

It’s okay.  We are syndicating our own dummy blog to our client sites.  We’ve purchased the full CyberSEO version.  Can you please share the option that eliminates that “continue reading” link that’s created in the excerpt?   Thanks!

The plugin does not create that link. In your WordPress control panel: Settings->Reading->For each article in a feed, show Full text.

That’s the only reason I needed to purchase the full version of your product.  That setting is already selected as below:

For each article in a feed, show For each article in a feed, show

Many sites are still posting that continue reading link in the excerpt.  Any other ideas?

Do you pull the feed from your own blog or from others?

If you are pulling the feeds from your own blog which has the “For each article in a feed, show Full text” option enabled, there is no “continue reading” links. The only place where these links can be generated is your WordPress template, but not CyberSEO.
