Is it possible to make one blog the rss host and create a separate feed for each category? For example, I create one main blog site with all unique post. I want to feed other blogs with the main blog. However, I want to create a different feed for each category therefore post from the category Ass on the main blog will go to the category Ass on the others blogs.

So i would like to make a different feed for each category. If this is possible, can you please detail how? Thanks.

WordPress allows to generate the feeds by specified categories by default. E.g:

yourblog.com/category/your_category_name/feed/

Yes that is correct however i am having a problem with the standard wordpress rss feed I was hoping that outputing through cyberseo would help me reach my goal. With the standard wordpress rss feed, the feed does not contain any custom field values. I have tried several plugins and searched gogle so i was hoping that cyberseo could output the feed and it would contain the custom field values.

Or if its possible, do you have any ideas on how i could pull data from custom fields using php through the xml syndicator panel? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ok i actually found a new plugin that not listed on google and barely has any downloads but it works Login to see this link.

It pulls the feed like this, however how can i place this custom fields with the cyberseo plugin:

Login to see this link.

I used for example email::email

or url::url in the custom fields section of the xml syndicator but it didnt return anything for the post.

You don't understand what custom fields are. These are additional data strings that WordPress attaches to the posts. So there is no way to have “custom fields” in feeds. The feeds do contain tags (not custom fields) which values the CyberSEO Suite can save as custom WP fields.

The plugin you are using to include the custom feed values into the feed, places them all into the “wp:postmeta” tag (there are no “email” or “url” tags), e.g.:

<wp:postmeta>
    <wp:meta_key>featured</wp:meta_key>
    <wp:meta_value><![CDATA[no]]></wp:meta_value>
</wp:postmeta>

I don't understand why it hasn't been implemented like this:

<featured><![CDATA[no]]></featured>

In such a case it would be very easy to assign the tag values to the custom fields like you are trying to do (email->email, url->url etc…)

I can implement the same feature as the “UW CALS Extend RSS2 feed” plugin has, but in the right way as described above.
